A five-day Pathfinder course runs at Seighford, near Stafford this October half-term. The course runs daily during the October half-term from Monday 26th to Friday 30th October 2026.
The standard course fee is £400. The Under 17 Car Club Charitable Trust has agreed a reduction in our price to £300 per attendee (of which £100 is considered your deposit). If you need additional financial support in order to take part please apply for a bursary here before booking. Once the Trustees confirm if a bursary is available we will provide a discount code to allow you to complete the booking process.
In one week students of the Pathfinder Initiative achieve the essential driving competence, attitudes, and understanding to become safe drivers. Uniquely, Pathfinder is for young drivers aged between 15-17 and an accompanying adult. Drivers learn in a safe, secure environment, having fun together and building understanding and trust. Alongside learning and developing core driving skills, students will learn about and practice:

- Dealing with Peer Pressure
- Road Risk and Safety
- Advanced Driving Appreciation
- Essential Car Control
- Manoeuvring & Overtaking
- Brake and Avoid
- Speed Awareness
