Bursaries

Bursaries are available at the sole discretion of the Trustees of The Under 17 Car Club Charitable Trust. These bursaries are funded by the Police and Crime Commissioners for Gloucestershire and West Mercia, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Safer Roads Humber and The Under 17 Car Club Charitable Trust.

Bursaries are always granted to qualifying residents reducing the amount payable to £240 (£60 deposit, £180 final payment) for residents of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Shropshire and Worcestershire and to £180 (£60 deposit, £120 final payment) for residents of Yorkshire (all parts) and North East Lincolnshire.

Bursaries may also be granted at the discretion of the Trustees to students living outside the sponsored counties who for financial, educational, health or other personal reasons could not otherwise take part.

Extended or additional bursaries may also be granted on application for residents of sponsored Counties if the standard bursary may still be unaffordable or where other educational, health or personal reasons mean that they could not otherwise take part.
